Become A Sponsoring Member
Being a sponsoring member means:
- you support our work with a monthly financial contribution of your choosing
- you are kept up to date about our projects, impacts, and reports
- you are invited to join our annual general assembly, where you can contribute your thoughts and suggestions about our work.
Reliable contributions through sponsoring membership are vital for ensuring the sustainability and consistency of our work, as they provides us with the financial security we need to effectively plan and budget for our programs. Additionally, we value the input of sponsoring members through their participation in discussions and decision-making processes at UHfR’s annual general assembly. By becoming a sponsoring member, you agree to adhere to the association’s statutes.
To become a sponsoring member, we invite you to fill in our registration form below. You have the option to either transfer your membership fee directly to our bank account or authorise us to collect the donation via direct debit mandate. Cancellation of sponsoring membership is possible anytime through email communication. Please note, a cancellation email must be received at least one week before the end of the month in order for the membership to be canceled before the following monthly contribution.
Important notes about the sponsoring membership and SEPA direct debit mandate
By sending off this mandate form and leaving your account details, you authorise (A) United Hands for Refugees e.V. to send instructions to your bank to debit your account and (B) your bank to debit your account in accordance with the instructions from United Hands for Refugees e.V. As part of your rights, you are entitled to a refund from your bank under the terms and conditions of your agreement with your bank. A refund must be claimed within 8 weeks starting from the date on which your account was debited.
You will be informed of the unique mandate reference separately after successful completion of the form. We collect the recurring donation on the 1st day of each month. If this date does not fall on a bank working day, the collection takes place on the immediately following bank working day.
Your data will not be passed on to third parties. You have the right to receive information about your stored data at any time. To do so, send an e-mail to info@unitedhandsforrefugees.org. Upon termination of your donation to United Hands for Refugees e.V., your data will be deleted upon request if you no longer wish to receive information from United Hands for Refugees e.V.
